1972 – 1992

The Foundation of Excellence

Our story began in 1972 with the establishment of «PYROTECHNIKI». Driven by a vision for technical expertise, the company evolved into UTECO LTD in 1977. A defining moment arrived in 1992, when a strategic merger led to the official formation of UTECO ABEE, setting the stage for decades of industrial growth.

1997 – 2015

Scaling Standards & Market Presence

Quality became our cornerstone early on, marked by our ISO 9001 certification by Bureau Veritas (BV) in 1997. As demand grew, we expanded our footprint by establishing the UTECO North Greece Sales Center in 2001. In 2015 the prestigious Certified Marine type approval by Lloyd’s Register (LR) was achieved and solidifying our position in the maritime sector.

2018 – Today

Sustainability, Safety & Global Reach

The last few years have been a period of rapid transformation. In 2018, we reinforced our environmental commitment with the ISO 14001 BV certification. This was followed by a major milestone in 2019, when we strengthen our journey with expanded our USP production line to enhance our manufacturing capacity.

Today, we lead with responsibility and specialized expertise. Our journey continues with the acquisition of Carbon Certification in 2022 and the landmark ATEX Certification for temperature sensors in 2023, ensuring our solutions meet the highest safety standards for the most demanding environments.
